Photography and the aesthetic act of walking have always been my main ways of approaching and experiencing my surroundings.
The current images are the portrait of a walking-randomly covered distance in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico.

The images depict the geographical and material nature of the place; the abundance of certain materials -just as their extraction-, human intervention on landscape and evidence of weather related situations. The area’s attributes like the soils, human-altered geography, flora, weather circumstances and objects; are all part of this sensorial experience of walking that allows for a very complete lecture of a place, if one is willing to look.
